Overview
Airspy R2 sets a new level of performance in the reception of the VHF and UHF bands thanks to its low-IF architecture, high quality ADC and state of the art DSP.
The coverage can be extended to the HF bands via the SpyVerter up-converter companion.
The Airspy R2, like its predecessor is 100% compatible with all the existing software including the de facto scanning standard SDR#, but also a number of popular software defined radio applications such as SDR-Radio, HDSDR, GQRX and GNU Radio.
For a more complete list of supported software, check the download page.

I'm completely satisfied by this receiver. It works as described, but as for me, I need a bit wider bandwidth - up to 2500MHz.
(Posted on 3/20/2015) - Excellent SDR receiver compared to all others in that price segment. Review by Mile Kokotov - Z33T

I am very satisfied. Recommending to everyone who want to make step forward from RTL-SDR dongle.
My old PC intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300/2.6Ghz CPU can run it only on 2.5 MSPS, While New i7 4790 is brilliant on 10 MSPS. One must be very careful with USB noise. I strongly recommend using several ferrite cores at both ends of USB cable in order to suppress the noise from PC. Also put the Airspy away from PC as much as possible. (The length of USB cable is limiting factor here). (Posted on 12/15/2014) - Excellent product***This works Review by James

In this world so many promises are made.... and often they are not kept.
This product delivers. It is as advertised. It does what they said it would do and very well.
Thankyou all that persevered to bring this product to market.
I give it a 100% recommendation. (Posted on 12/10/2014)
