AC-DC V2 & V3 Comparative Test Report

TEST 2: Practical application test of AC-DC module control home appliances through relay:

We separately connected V2 and V3 to a 5V relay to control the switches of home appliances, such as lights, fans, etc.

Under this application condition, use oscilloscope power to monitor power supply, we got the below illustrations.

V3 Module:

V2 Module: when AC input was open suddenly, DC output became unstable.

We can see from the TEST 2, V3 output keeps stable, it does not cause relay malfunction, and when manually open the appliance, V3 output is also stable. But when V2 AC input open, the relay is very unstable, resulting in switch malfunction such as bulbs flashing, fan close and open repeatedly for several times. And when the appliance is turned on manually, V2 output power supply will be instantly pulled down a great deal, even lower than 3V.
