Customizable Arduino RFID module : Sniffer Nano v2.0

Sniffer Nano v2.0 is a mini RFID reader module that basis on Arduino. The size of Sniffer Nano v2.0 just 23mm x 20mm x1.6mm, but it’s multifunctional than many other RFID module, user can use the serial and AT command to modify the setting of the reader, like the output baud rate, work mode and so on.

The firmware is basis on Arduino so every one can customize it to make a special F/W for their project. Except the RX/TX and INT for RFID data transmission, there are many pins can for other functions like drive the LED , buzzer or relay, even control the RF module for wireless communication.

The hardware and software of Sniffer Nano is open source, we have build a Google Code for Sniffer Nano project, we will update the latest schematic and firmware in the project page. Welcome to visit and join our Sniffer Nano Google Code Group : http://code.google.com/p/rfidsniffernano

Now the firmware v1.0 just support UART output , we are making a new v1.1 which will support Wiegand output – setting by AT command.

The Sniffer Nano v2.0 is much more expensive than RDM630, but it worth. You can update the firmware to customize your own function via Arduino IDE, we will continue to provide a new version of firmware which will include more and more function.
