Multicenter Relay Shield For Arduino / Iteaduino

Another new practical shield for Arduino UNO and its compatible boards will come out.

  • 2 mechanical relays with photo-coupled circuit
  • 2 MOS switch with internal power supply
  • Xbee, nRF24l02, RF315/433M module wireless interface
  • Arduino AD pins 3 PINs interface breakout for Sensor module (Electronic Brick)
  • Equipped with screw holes for easy installation
  • Light weigh
  • Small form factor
  • Native Arduino/Iteaduino compatibility

This small relay shield is named IS Shield, is a smart module with 2 channels mechanical relays and 2 channels MOS switch, providing an easy way for applications of voltage controlling from low to high.

The max switching power for relay channel could be DC 24W or AC 240VA, and the max current the MOS switch channel can supply is 2A (it also depend on your source power supply). It could be directly controlled by Arduino UNO / Iteaduino or any other compatible boards like IFLAT-32, through digital IOs with external 7-12v (9v recommend) supply. With the XBee socket , nRF24L01 interface and 315/433M RF module interface, the IS Shield could be remotely controlled, making it be easily used in robotics, industry control, smart houses etc…

For the 2 mechanical relay channels, you can using the jumper to set the default status : NO(normal open) or NC(normal connect). For 2 MOS switch channels, you can use the jumper to set the drive power voltage: 5V or Vin(7-12V). Please be careful when you use the MOS switch channels, you need to connect the positive and negative of circuit exactly.

The 3Pins breakout make it easy to build up a project or prototyping quickly, by using many existing sensor modules (Electronic Brick). And there are some wireless interface breakout on board, you can use it to connect with many wireless module.

Now the green board just the prototyping and the finial boards is BLUE.  The green boards will be sold in iStore as bare boards with schematic, solder maps and BOM.
