- Works well on FEZ Panda II, except for the select button Review by Famory
-
I have tested the board with a GHIElectronics Fez Panda II using the driver provided for their own card. It almost works without any change in the code. The screen worked perfectly as well as 5 of the buttons. Only the select button doesn't provide a value yet. Reading some Netduino forums (http://forums.netduino.com/index.php?/topic/4035-freetronics-lcd-select-keypad-problem/), it sounds like I'm not the only one to have this problem. This seems to come from the voltage that is using 3.3V instead of 5V.
I still consider it as minor as all the other functions work pretty well. It's still possible to add a separate button on A1 for example.
(Posted on 7/19/2013) - Works well Review by Stephen Davies

Works well, nice clear display.
Reasons I don't give it 5 out of 5:
1) LCD pins differ from those used in Arduino example code.
Use - LiquidCrystal lcd(8, 9, 4, 5, 6, 7);
2) LCD write pin is not connected, therefore cannot define custom characters in display.
3) Error in schematic. Pin 10 appears to control LCD backlight. (Posted on 9/4/2012) - EXCELLENT SERVICE Review by kevin
