The specifications state that it needs 4.5V, however, I was able to use it on the Gboard (3.3V), with the trigger output being 2.7V. That's sufficient for the Gboard the detect it as HIGH.
Not sure about the sensitivity pot though, could be as Bill says: the second pot might be some kind of "hold-off". Having the schematic here would be nice. (Posted on 2/26/2014) - Two pots use and IC info Review by Bill

Just to help out other user :
The unit is fitted with 2 pots that set Output pulse time, and delay before rt-triggering is possible.

The jumper sets the output mode. In non-retrigger mode the module will output only one pulse then retrigger after a timeout set on the pot. In retrigger mode any additional movement will hold the output high for the Output pulse time and extend it on every trigger without the output having to go low first.
