SONOFF BASICR2 Descriptions:
Based on the classic BASIC, SONOFF constantly extends the product category, as well as improves and optimize product performance in sequence. Ultimately, BASICR2 with ETL certification comes out.
Without changing its original smart features, BASICR2 made the upgrade and optimization mainly on its safety to provide the higher value and usage experience to our users.
Besides CE, FCC and RoHS certified, BASICR2 is also compliant with safety standards, having been tested and ETL certified by the authority, no need to worry about its quality and safety, If you want to learn about more detailed info for the safety and performance improvement of BASICR2 , please view the user inform letter here.
Moisture and dust resistant, no potential safety hazard in harsh weather. BASICR2 is tested to work at the excessive humidity environment for up to 48 hours. They all can work continuously work for several hours from -10℃ to 60℃ at the rated load of 10A. Creepage distances, clearances and distances through insulation.
It has a high feasibility in various environments and preventing sparking from high humidity environment. There is adequate protection against accidental contact with live parts in all unfavorable positions of normal use, ensure the user’s safety in installation and use. The structure strictly controls the requirements of insulation, micro disconnection, and installation test to ensure the reliability and safety of BASICR2. Note: SONOFF BASICR2 does NOT have 433Mhz RF receiver module. If you want RF function, please buy SONOFF RFR2.

It just works. No 'maybe I will work this time's. Easy to pair if you spend just a bit of interpretation time. Instructions could be clearer, I suppose. The phone app is very straight forward, although it takes about 9 seconds to come up on my iPhone 4S (older model now). I plan to resolve that with an Echo Dot.
